Portland Pet Food Company was founded by Katie McCarron in 2014 for her family's senior Standard Poodle, Rosie, who had struggled to eat and was ailing. Katie began cooking fresh, human-grade meals at home with 11 simple ingredients and Rosie lived another 1.5 years to the age of 16. PPFC manufactures human-grade, shelf stable pet meals, and dog biscuits in the United States made with 11 or fewer ingredients that are all sourced and grown in the US. Proudly a female-founded, family-owned company that is a member of the Pet Sustainability Coalition, Specialty Food Association, and WBENC. A portion of all proceeds are donated to non-profits serving animals in need.
