For a fixed end system, anchor the carabiner to any hook, D-ring, or loop, and feed the rope through the cam until the desired level of tension is reached

Pull the rope firmly and the cam locks into place until released

For a looped system, tie a knot to create a loop in one end of the rope

Clip the CamJam into the loop, pull the other end through the cam

To release the cam, rotate the lock lever and pull rope upward
